Florida teen posts Snapchat picture of himself with wads of cash – gets robbed
Faried Said was arrested

There are no prizes for guessing what happened to a teenager who posted a picture of himself holding a large amount of cash on Snapchat.

The 18-year-old, from Florida, took a picture of $280 in his home on Sugar Pine Drive in West Boca and posted it on the self-deleting picture and video site.

Within hours, the 18-year-old no longer had the $280. Nor did he have his watch or his wallet.

Two men wearing masks and carrying knives had tued up at his flat and demanded the teenager hand over the cash, which he did.

The thieves were spotted by a woman walking her dog, and a police officer in the area by chance noticed the numberplate of the getaway car. The victim then told police he had recognised the voice of one of the robbers as belonging to 21-year-old Faried Said.

Said faces armed robbery and burglary charges.
