Florida man Doyle Hardwick jailed for calling 911 on Facebook-snooping wife
A Florida man who became annoyed when his wife wouldn't let him browse Facebook alone is serving 60 days in jail for misuse of 911 after he called the police to report the "problem."
Doyle Hardwick initially tried to use beer to get his wife, Julie, to fall asleep, and let him peruse the social network in peace, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
When that didn't work, and when she had the nerve to insist on sitting right next to him, he tried to get the cops to come and "make my wife do what I wanted her to do."
Hardwick was previous jailed in 2010 for a similar offense.
Was the 60-day sentence too harsh?
