Drunk woman Adacia Chambers plows into homecoming parade killing three
Among the injured police say eight have been critically wounded, nine received serious injuries while 17 others were treated as 'walking wounded' with only minor injuries

Three people were killed and 34 others were injured when a car crashed into a large crowd of spectators at a homecoming parade.

The driver of the vehicle, Adacia Chambers, 25, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

‘We are heartbroken at this tragedy,’ Stillwater Mayor Gina Noble said in a news conference.

Eight of the injured are in a critical condition and were airlifted to hospitals.

According to witnesses, the car was driving at up to 50mph, running into a parked police motorcycle as spectators ran for cover.

Some spectators, witnesses say, were thrown ’30 feet into the air like rag dolls’.
