Drunk mother Audrey Willoughby who put daughter, 10, at the wheel faces jail
When mother-of-two Audrey Willoughby realised she was a little too tipsy to drive home after a family outing, there was one person she knew was sober enough to take the wheel.
So the 33-year-old handed the keys to her daughter, ten, and jumped in the back seat with her eight-year-old son.
After all, her boyfriend had only had two beers and could give the little girl driving lessons as they drove through Fort Pierce, Florida.
Scene: The crash happened at Southeast Floresta Drive after Ms Willoughby asked her daughter,10, to drive home because she was too tipsy
But the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, panicked on a busy road and instead of slamming the break, hit the accelerator.
Speeding out of control, the family's Toyota Corolla ploughed into three cars and a house before coming to rest.
She reportedly told Port St. Lucie police that partner Michael Ray Green III, 39, was giving the girl a driving lesson in the car on Southeast Floresta Driver when the collisions occurred.

Nobody was injured in the crash, which happened in May, and the children were taken to their grandfathers after Willoughby and Green were arrested.
Willoughby was also charged with possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis after afficers found some in her purse.
Green had previously been jailed for 13 months in January with 11 months on probation.
