Delaware Governor Jack Markell accidentally tweets pic of blonde in bondage gear

DELAWARE Goveor Jack Markell found himself in a bind this moing after a racy photo of a blonde in bondage gear was accidentally tweeted out from his account.

The tweet was meant to be about something much more innocent: the goveor’s visit to an elementary school.

“At Waer E.S. in #WilmDE to announce new initiative to support many of #netDE’s most disadvantaged students,” read the message that was tweeted out with an image of a young blonde puckering her lips.

WHYY’s Shirley Min managed to snag a screen shot of the suggestive photo before it was deleted.

“Ummm … Maybe she’s a teacher?” she cheekily tweeted.

The photo was later replaced with an image of Mr Markell speaking on the steps of the school.

“An inappropriate photo was inadvertently sent out earlier. We are looking into how this occurred but apologise to anyone who was offended,” his account tweeted later.

Twitter user Precious Little claimed she took the photo of herself years ago — and it was all an innocent mistake.

“Regarding an image tweeted of me today, it was a harmless selfie/candid from a photo shoot years ago. I believe it was an honest accident,” she tweeted this afteoon.

A spokeswoman for Mr Markell told Delaware Online the Twitter flub was the result of a photo link that was accidentally altered.

“The lessons here are not to compose tweets too quickly and there is a lot of odd stuff on the inteet,” spokeswoman Kelly Bachman said in a statement.

“We just wish the accidental link had been a cat video.”
