Dearborn Man Geoffrey R. Williams Charged In Platte County Sex Assault

PLATTE CITY, Mo. -- A 19-year-old Dearbo, Mo., man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl, and deputies said they want to know if he attacked anyone else.

Prosecutors filed sexual assault and deviate sexual assault charges against Geoffrey R. Williams on Tuesday.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office said Williams attacked the victim in an abandoned ba on April 2 after he threatened her. Investigators said Williams also exposed himself to the girl.

Investigators said Williams was being held at the Platte County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Platte County Prosecuting Attoey Eric Zahnd said investigators are trying to find out if Williams attacked anyone else.

“We urge anyone who has been a victim or knows someone who may have been victimized by Geoffrey R. Williams to call the Platte County Sheriff’s Department,” he said.
