Couple Jamie Vergo, Sherman Perry caught having sex on a beach... and then charged for drug possession

Perhaps, they should stick to the Vodka based cocktail next time. 

When an amorous Florida couple were caught having sex on a beach in the early hours of Friday moing it was just the beginning of their troubles.

After being busted in flagrante, police promptly arrested the lovers after discovering they had crack cocaine and marijuana in their possession, according to a police report.

Police asked the couple about a bag of marijuana in the sand next to them but both Vergo and Perry denied it was theirs, said the report.

However, a search of their belongings found crack cocaine stored in a pill bottle, along with a crack pipe, police said.

Perry was charged with possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. Vergo was charged with possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphealia and marijuana.

The couple, who live separately in Golden Gate, were not charged for getting intimate on the beach.

Collier County Jail records show that Perry has been booked eight times in the last ten years on various charges, including theft, drug possession and battery.

Both Perry and Vergo have been released on bond after paying $7,500 and $6,500 respectively.
