Cops: Tennis pro Michael J. Quirke videotaped naked man

WEYMOUTH - A longtime tennis pro at the Weymouth Club is accused of videotaping a naked young man in a club locker room.

The Patriot Ledger reports 47-year-old Michael J. Quirke, of Braintree, pleaded innocent Monday to charges of photographing an unsuspecting person in the nude and being disorderly.

Quirke was ordered to stay away from the Weymouth Club and the 21-year-old alleged man, according to the Patriot Ledger.

The victim allegedly caught Quirke making the video of him with a hand-held camera and confronted him in the club lobby Friday night.

Statement from the Weymouth Club:

"We were extremely shocked and conceed to lea of the charges against Mike Quirke, who served as a staff member at the Weymouth Club for over 15 years. Quirke was immediately placed on leave and will be prohibited from accessing all club facilities."
