Cop Patrick Quinn Charged Over Foot-Sniffing Allegations

A school district police officer has been charged after a female motorist claimed he asked to smell her feet.

Patrick Quinn, an officer with the Cypress-Fairbanks school district in Houston, Texas, is charged with two counts of "official oppression".

The 26-year-old cop claimed he found marijuana paraphealia after he stopped the female motorist in August, the Harris County district attoey's office said.

He then allegedly told the woman that he had a foot fetish and would release her if she let him smell her feet.

Quinn is accused of later saying he would settle for the woman's underwear, but later changed his mind and let her go.

Authorities are looking into whether Quinn may have made similar requests to other women he stopped.

The officer was arrested on Friday and placed on paid administrative leave.

He is currently free on a $2,000 bond. His attoey has declined to comment on the charges.
