Citizens Bank Program Hands Out Backpacks Full Of School Supplies in NH
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Volunteers spent Tuesday night filling up backpacks to distribute to 3,000 students across New Hampshire.
It was part of the sixth annual Citizens Bank program, Gear For Grades.
This year, more than 32,000 donations of new school supplies came in.
In Manchester, volunteers packed thousands of backpacks to be handed out to children statewide through New Hampshire Child and Family Services starting next week.
