BU student newspaper’s April Fools’ edition angers students

A good sign that you bungled your April Fools' prank is when people are still angry three days later.

That's the case at Boston University, where the Daily Free Press' attempt at humor in Monday's print edition included front-page stories about Snow White being sexually assaulted by the seven dwarves and Cinderella's involvement in a prostitution ring.

Some students felt that the articles in the "all-Disney" issue were insensitive to the real-life victims involved in the school's highly publicized sexual assault cases.

Daily Free Press editor Chelsea Diana was asked to resign, which she did. "Monday's issue was a black mark on our reputation," the paper's board of directors posted.

Is anyone other than the editor responsible?
