A FURIOUS father has taken to naming and shaming his daughter’s bullies in an online video after she was called a series of racist names.

Bradley Knudson, from Prior Lake, Minnesota, recorded the messages his adopted African-American daughter received via snapchat and played them as part of a YouTube video.

Mr Knudson appears in the five minute “unscripted and emotional” clip to reveal the distress the bullying had on his family, particularly he and his wife Wendy.

In the clip, which has amassed almost 638,000 views since it was uploaded earlier this week, he reveals how he approached the parents of the twin bullies but was told there was nothing wrong with what was said.

The father of the twins then phoned him and abused him saying: “Yeah Brad, I just heard huh, I guess you’re a n**** lover.”

The exasperated Mr Knudson waed he would put the comments all over social media but the twins’ father said he didn’t care.

So Mr Knudson came good on his promise.

“His name is Darren Puro, we live in Prior Lake Minnesota and I want him to own it,” he said on the video.

It later emerged the Mr Puro was sacked from his job after the video went viral, according to FOX 13.

But more importantly, he said the video had a serious side and he wanted to portray a very serious message.

“A week and a half ago some of our very good friends, their son committed suicide at the age of 13 because of bullying,” he explained.

“At that point it dawned on me (that) we can’t have this hanging over us and my daughter thinking the worst.”

On his YouTube page, Mr Knudson reveals why the n-word was something he had heard his own daughter use, it wasn’t something he tolerated.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support,” he said following the response to the video.

“I just found out our daughter did not take this issue as seriously as Wendy and I. The n-word is something I was taught at a very young age was not appropriate.

“Regardless of your skin colour, I and my wife do not tolerate this word, and our daughter is going to be reprimanded in an appropriate manner.

“I am extremely saddened and disappointed because of this video she has discredited the message that we wanted to convey. I hope that this does not stop our efforts to highlight the issues that still remain regarding bully and the effects it has on children. It is still truly an epidemic and social media has allowed us to bully individuals 24-hours a day, seven days a week no matter where that person lives.”

His video received applause from followers such as Tyra Anderson who posted: “So sad and so cruel. I am so proud of this father for standing up for his daughter.”

And Michael Grey wrote: “You did what every father should have done, mate. I hope your conscience is clean and these idiot kids leat a lesson.”

The video also won him plenty of plaudits on Twitter.
