Bill to nix teacher cursing creates sh*tstorm in Arizona

You know that cool high-school teacher who randomly dropped the F-bomb while explaining the Louisiana Purchase? No more, says a group of Arizona legislators who support a bill that would force teachers to use only FCC-approved speech in the classroom -- and in private.

Teachers who violate the Republican-backed law won't simply get detention: Punishment for a potty mouth ranges from a one-week suspension to getting canned.

An assistant English professor at the University of Northe Iowa defends the academics behind a strategically profane classroom, tweeting, "I actually think that cursing in class, if done properly, is pedagogically sound." But @Missoularedhead sees the writing on the chalkboard: "I am so gonna get fired."

Do you think it's OK for teachers to curse in class?
