As gunman attacked, Chardon students tweeted their fears

As alleged Chardon High School shooter Thomas "T.J." Lane opened fire in the cafeteria, other students tued to Twitter to chronicle the events as they unfolded and to express their disbelief.

Several of the tweets compiled by The Daily Beast use the phrase "the scariest day of my life," while student Joey Cashvecchia wrote of students "calling parents and crying."

Other students tweeted the identity of the shooter and victims. According to MSNBC.com, one student was killed and four were wounded.
