‘Sorry, my first kill was clumsy’: Friends find couple Golam and Shamima Rabbi dead in their home
Golam and Shamima Rabbi

A couple who were found dead inside their home on Sunday were discovered alongside a message reading: ‘Sorry, my first kill was clumsy.’

Golam and Shamima Rabbi, who had lived in the San Jose, Califoia for decades after immigrating from Bangaldesh, found when a group of friends let themselves into their home through a sliding glass door.

The friends, who hadn’t heard from the couple in days, found their bodies alongside a message, written in ink.

Police said they were shot at least once, but have no information on a suspect or motivate this time.

‘It’s so difficult to reconcile to the tragic, violent end to such simple, gentle souls,’ said Evergreen Islamic Center member Hasan Rahim.

‘Going away in such a manner is something we just can’t come to grips with,’ added Faisal Yazadi, another member.

The pair are survived by their sons, aged 17 and 21, who were not in at the time of the killings.

A friend called the pair ‘gentle, simple souls’
