Woman Killed By Tanker Crash ID'd as 37 yr-old Kristen Ream
RIVERSIDE, Ohio -- State Route 202 has been reopened after an investigation of a fatal crash closed it for several hours Friday evening.
The crash happened near the intersection of 202 and Needmore Road during rush hour. Witnesses at the scene said motorists traveling next to the truck were changing lanes and pulling off the road when the tanker started to tip.
Kristen Ream, 37, of Dayton was trapped inside the black car the rig landed on. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office pronounced her dead at the scene.
Hazmat crews were called to the scene to handle the substance that flowed out of the tank as a precaution, but the substance was later determined to be mud.
