Weather service codes message in forecast
EMPLOYEES of the US National Weather service are sick of not being paid.
The weather service has been forced to stay open during the govement shut down, despite the fact they're not being paid.
At least 3,935 employees are working for free right now for the NWS.
So at least one employee has tried to make their displeasure known by coding a message in one of its weather forecasts.
The bulletin - featured above - contained a message down the left hand side of the post that said "please pay us".
The image has been shared over the inteet thousands of times since the shutdown came into place last week.
Dan Sobien of the NWS Employees Organisation told The Verge "nobody knows when anyone's going to get paid".
