WATCH: Heartless thief steals 'Toys for Tots' donations box
If there was anyone who epitomised the spirit of the Grinch, it must be this man.
Surveillance footage show America's most heartless thief making sure that some needy children will not be having a very merry Christmas.
The video shows a man inside a Texas UPS store, where he had come to send a fax.
But when he was left alone for a split second he spotted an opportunity.
On the counter next to him was a donations box for the Harris County's Toys for Tots Literacy Programme - an initiative helping economically disadvantaged children get a better education.
When the clerk tued his back for a second, the man snatched the box - shoving it under his shirt and down his trousers before walking out.
Then, shockingly, he retued to the store to pay for the fax - with some of the money he had just stolen
