This California state park ranger probably regrets drinking on the job
The stresses that come with a uniform and a badge have driven many a man to the bottle.
However, most of these men haven’t been photographed in their cruiser, totally unconscious, with an open beer between their legs.
Tyson Young, a state park ranger in Humboldt, Califoia, was on duty when he decided to park his cruiser and crack open a cold one at the wheel.
It must have been a scenic drinking spot, seeing as Tyson patrols the Avenue of the Giants, a stretch of highway in northe Califoia lined with giant Redwoods.
Unfortunately, one beer might have tued into a couple more because Tyson slipped into a booze coma so heavy that the person who walked up to his open window to check on him thought something might be seriously wrong.
Speaking to Outpost, the anonymous man said: ‘I shook him, really shook him.’ Tyson did not budge.
Luckily, the man’s fears were lessened when he spotted the can of beer between Tyson’s legs.
But rather than draw on him with a permanent marker or cover him in fuiture (a la any student house party), he called the police.
Before officers could arrive, however, the drunken ranger managed to wake up and drive off – although not before the incriminating photo had been snapped.
Police eventually caught up with Tyson and he was arrested for DUI, stripped of his officer status and placed on administrative leave.
