Texas man Christian Sechrist gets massive portrait of young son tattooed on his face

There’s few things more heartwarming than the lengths that some parents are willing to go for the unwavering love of their children.

But this man took it to painful extremes – when he got an image of his young son tattooed on the side of his life.

Christian Sechrist, 20, from Houston, Texas had the portrait inked on his face to show his love for baby Perseus (yes, real name).

Posting photos of the finished result on Facebook, he described the work as ‘awesome’.

‘Thanks Cody Gibbs for doing awesome work on me!’, he wrote.

‘Looks just like my son.’

We’re not disputing the likeliness, but we can’t help feel that he hasn’t thought of what happens when his son grows up, and he’s left with a giant picture of a baby on his face.

Unsurprisingly, his friends weren’t too impressed with the inking – and one angrily suggested that the unusual inking would seriously affect his chances of getting a job.

‘Why on your f**king face?! How are you ever going to get a real f**king job to support your son with a tattoo on your face?’, they wrote.

Oh, and he also happens to have this intricate design on the other side of his bonce.
