Teen hooker Celeste Guap sues Oakland police for $66m
THE teen prostitute who was offered protection by police in retu for sexual favors is suing the city for $66 million saying she was treated like a sex slave.
Celeste Guap, a pseudonym used by the 19-year-old, said she slept with dozens of Oakland officers when she was just 17 years old and working as a prostitute — because they gave her tips on how to avoid raids.

The $66 million lawsuit claims that the actions by police were an act of “mode day slavery” against the teen.
“These acts constitute unlawful forced labor, trafficking into servitude and sex trafficking of a child by force, fraud and coercion and have caused (Jasmine) to suffer unimaginable abuse, pain, and suffering that she and her family will endure for the rest of her life,” according to a copy of the lawsuit obtained by NBC Bay Area.

Alameda County District Attoey Nancy O’Malley has launched a criminal investigation.
“We are being very sensitive to the young woman who has been exploited and been hurt,” Ms O’Malley said on August 9 when activists arrived unannounced at her office and demanded officers be charged criminally. “We are working diligently.”
The scandal was reportedly uncovered after the suicide of Officer Brendan O’Brien.
Guap was released from a Florida jail earlier this month after assaulting a worker at a rehab center for substance abuse and sex addiction.
Two of the seven officers accused in criminal court were formally charged Friday.
