Suspect Ngan Ngoc Do under arrest in fatal shooting
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - The Orange County Sheriff's Office has a suspect under arrest from Monday's double shooting that left one man dead.
Ngan Ngoc Do, 21, was arrested Thursday. Investigators say witnesses provided information that led to Do and the vehicle he was believed to be driving at the time of the shooting. Detectives have also recovered a firearm and are waiting for forensic ballistic evidence to determine if it was the gun used in the double shooting.
Do has been charged with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.
Around 8:00 pm. Monday deputies were called to the Waterside Apartments on Shoals Drive (map below) where they found Schuyler Christy, 22, dead and Jonathan Gonzales, 20, shot in the head. Gonzales is in serious condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
