Sleeping couple freaked out by burglar who stood over them for 15 minutes

It's a scary moment when you discover that someone has broken into your home. For one Chicago area couple, discovering that moment was both terrifying and Bizarre.

Jack Mackercher and his girlfriend Jordan Buranskas were asleep on their couch when a burglar got in through an upstairs window.

The couple did not realize anything was wrong – until Jordan tried to find her purse and realised it was gone.

In an effort to show Jordan that she walked into the home with her purse, Jack started reviewing his surveillance video, normally used to keep an eye on their dogs, and this is what they discovered.

They said that the man was stood there for about 15 minutes.

They’re trying to reassure themselves that the intruder was actually watching Mr Robot, which was playing on the TV while he was there, because he left soon after the credits started rolling.
