New Hampshire: Trial Begins For Dianna Saunders Accused Of Arranging Murder
Prosecutors: Dianna Saunders Paid Ex-Husband To Kill David King

DOVER, N.H. -- Opening statements are expected in Dover in the trial of a New Hampshire woman charged with paying three men to kill her live-in boyfriend.

On Monday, the Strafford County Superior Court jury that will hear the case against Dianna Saunders toured the home where David King was shot to death on Aug. 29, 2008.

She has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors said Saunders paid her ex-husband Roy Saunders $8,000 to arrange the killing of King. Roy Saunders then allegedly paid his son Derek Saunders and Scott Mazzone to carry out the killing.

Roy Saunders committed suicide. Derek Saunders and Mazzone have made deals with prosecutors and could testify against Dianna Saunders.

Foster's Daily Democrat reported opening statements in the trial are expected Tuesday. The trial is expected to last three weeks.
