The Arizona man who went on a naked carjacking spree last Friday, causing two crashes and injuring several people in his wake, was once a high school English teacher, officials have leaed.
John Brigham, 45, was arrested June 29 by Scottsdale police for injuring seven people during his car theft spree, while allegedly high on PCP, according to ABC.
Just last year Brigham was working as a real estate executive. Before that he worked as an English teacher at Chandler High School in Scottsdale for 8 years, according to the station.
A spokesman for the school district said he was a "well-regarded" man and "excellent teacher" and didn't show any alarming behavior while at the school.
