Missing Mass. Woman Kathleen Whitehouse's Body Found In Maine Pond
BOSTON -- The body of a Massachusetts woman was found in a Maine pond Wednesday, several hours after she was reported missing.
Crews searched Stanley Pond in Hiram for Kathleen Whitehouse, 47, of Malden, who was reported missing Wednesday moing, Maine officials told WMTW-TV.
Her body was found at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday not far from where she was last seen swimming on Tuesday afteoon.
Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife wardens said it appears that Whitehouse drowned.
Whitehouse's body will be examined by the Maine State Medical Examiner.
Boats, K-9s, an airplane and divers were used in the search.
