Micah Dailey’s Go Directly To Jail shirt becomes an internet hit

THIS 20-year-old’s arrest for possession of less than 20 grams of weed wouldn’t normally make news except that he was wearing the most hilarious and appropriate T-shirt in his mugshot.

Micah Dailey, of Cape Coral in Florida, just happened to be wearing a green T-shirt with the Monopoly board game order to “Go Directly to Jail” when he was apprehended by police.

Mr Dailey was arrested for possession of marijuana of no more than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphealia, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was in custody for about 7 hours before posting $6500 bail. He has a trial date scheduled for December 1.

The arrest did cause some chuckles in the police department who had a good laugh about it, Sgt. Scott Lineberger told the Daily News.

“It had an element of humour to it,” he said.

Dailey of course was not allowed to pass ‘Go” and did not collect $200.
