Muslims in Rockville, Maryland tried to get a Muslim holy day added to the school calendar.
But it didn't work out like they had hoped.
Instead, the local school board in Rockville voted 7-1 to get rid of ALL religious holidays including Christmas, Easter, Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashana.
The A-P reports it wasn't the Muslims' goal to have the other holidays removed and that they're not happy about the board's decision.
School will still be closed on the same holidays as before, they just won't have labels.
And school will still be open on the Muslim holy day.
