Married NC man goes to hotel to give woman $300; gets beaten by two men
A man went to a North Carolina hotel to meet a woman he thought he talked to on Facebook, but was assaulted by two men.
WNCN reported that the victim claims he was chatting with a woman on Facebook and the two agreed to meet at a hotel in Fuquay-Varina.
The woman asked for $300 and he agreed to give it to her at a Comfort Inn hotel, according to the victim.
The victim told police that two men “kicked the door in” at his hotel room and demanded money.
The victim was kicked and punched and complained of a swollen right eye and injured ribs, according to WNCN. His wife reportedly took him to a hospital.
