Man leaves 1000 dollar tip, comes back for it the next day
According to a report by KUSA, employees were shocked and surprised when a man eating at Thailicious, an Edgewater, Colorado restaurant on Monday night left them a thousand dollar tip.
“We thought he was just some super-loaded dude who wanted to make our night,” said Skye Seumptewa, who collected the man’s ticket book.
Bee Anantatho, one of the restaurant’s owners, said he and the worker were excited, but also a little skeptical. “[The server] was so excited about it. He said he’s heard of stories like this, but not with so much money. Let’s wait to see if he comes back or not.”
The man did come back and said he was slightly drunk when he left the tip. The employees retued the money and said that the man is still welcome.
