A man impersonating a police officer was arrested after pulling over a real cop.

Jonathan Charles Stevens stopped an officer to report a reckless driver while in a car equipped with red and blue emergency lights.

But after informing the officer he worked for a govement agency and possessed a gun and badge around his neck, and making a call to ‘dispatch’, the real officer became suspicious and discovered the vehicle was not registered.

Stevens, 24, subsequently admitted he was not a real officer and was arrested.

Police in Tampa, Florida, in the US, where the incident took place, revealed Stevens had pulled a similar trick in September, when he pulled a woman over in a fake traffic stop.
