PA Man Jonathan Eisenhauer Accused Of Shooting, Killing Wife
Jonathan Eisenhauer Called 911 To Report He Shot His Wife

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A 30-year-old man is accused of killing his wife in their Jackson Township, Lebanon County, home.

At about 4:15 a.m., police were called to a home in the 400 block of Kutztown Road (see interactive map below).

Jonathan Eisenhauer called 911 and said that he had shot his 33-year-old wife, Andrea, and a dog, police said. His wife died.

When troopers arrived at the home, Eisenhauer was shooting at them from a second-floor window, according to police.

Troopers retued fire, then he stopped shooting, police said.

Eisenhauer then appeared at a first-floor door holding a 10-year-old girl as a shield, according to police.

He released the girl and troopers entered the home and took him into custody after subduing him with a stun gun, police said.

Eisenhauer was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, according to police.

He has a gunshot wound to his shoulder and is listed in serious condition, police said.

The 10-year-old girl is in the care of relatives.

Earl and Cindy Liskey live next door. They were woken up by yelling just after 4 a.m. and later heard lots of bangs that sounded like fireworks.

Their home has more than 20 bullet holes throughout, including in the refrigerator and a kitchen window.
