Kristen Reeves, Texas woman, arrested in Wal-Mart for using child as human shield
Wal-Mart really brings out the worst in people. Maybe it's the savings? Whatever the case, Kristen Reeves seems to exemplify what we're talking about. The 24-year-old has been arrested three times before for theft, but she appears to have ascended to new heights of awful in a Cypress, Texas, Wal-Mart last week, allegedly using her 15-month-old daughter, Laila, as a human shield.
Reeves reportedly placed the girl between herself and security officers as she fled loss prevention officers questioning her about an apparent theft. According to onlookers, the child's head even struck a fire extinguisher at one point, and Reeves fled the store without her daughter. She did retu (eventually) and was arrested on charges of theft and child endangerment. [Source]
