Graphic body-cam footage shows unarmed teen Dylan Noble being killed by police
UNARMED: Dylan did not have a gun on him or in his pick-up truck

POLICE have released a shocking video showing the fatal shooting of an unarmed 19-year-old during a traffic stop in Califoia.

Teenager Dylan Noble was killed by police officers who shot him repeatedly – including while he was lying on his back and barely moving.

The footage has sparked outrage among viewers, with Dylan’s own father claiming officers were “trigger-happy”.

Dylan’s family were shown the video privately last week but police had initially refused to release it to the public until their investigation is complete.

But officers have now decided to release the footage of the killing at a gas station in Fresno, Califoia, on June 25.

After watching the clip, Darren Noble, Dylan’s father said: “They just wanted to shoot him.

“They’re just trigger-happy.”

The family has now launched legal action against the city, arguing the shooting was “an inexcusable use of excessive force”.

When he released the footage at a press conference on Wednesday (July 13), chief of the Califoia police department said the video shows Dylan Noble refusing officers’ orders to show his hands.

The 19-year-old was unarmed, but Chief Jerry Dyer said he was reaching toward his waistband repeatedly.

Dyer said the officers thought Dylan was going to try to shoot them.

According to the Fresno police department’s account of the shooting, officers pulled the teen over while investigating reports of a man carrying a rifle at around 3.20pm.

Police claim the officers believed Dylan had a gun but later leaed he had no weapons on him or in his pickup truck.

In the body camera footage, officers are seen approaching the young man with their guns pointed at him.

They repeatedly shout: “Let me see your hands.

“Both hands.”

After getting out of his truck, Dylan appears to have his left arm outstretched and his right arm behind his back.
