Furious wife Rhonda Washington stabs husband over Facebook posts

A wife is in jail for allegedly getting so furious over posts on her husband's Facebook page that she stabbed him with a knife.

Rhonda Roshell Washington, from Bryan, Texas, was arrested on Thursday moing after a heated argument with her unnamed partner tued into an all out brawl in which she chased him around the house with a knife and stabbed him in the hand.

Police were called to the 800 block of East 26th St around 4.45am and officers said a man was outside the residence with a bloody wound on his hand when they arrived, according to The Eagle.

During the altercation, she said she jabbed him with a set of car keys.

But her husband said Ms Washington was reading his Facebook profile page in the living room while he was sleeping in and became upset by something she read.

He said he checked to see what was wrong and she chased him with the knife before attacking him. Police have not revealed what the woman read on Facebook that may have sparked the incident.

The man called police as Ms Washington left the house, but officers tracked her down, arrested her and took her to the station.

She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which could see her behind bars for up to 20 years.

She's being held on bail at Brazos County Jail.
