Former ‘Miss Arizona Teen USA’ Tori Vance charged with DUI
Former Miss Arizona Teen USA Tori Vance has been officially charged with two counts of DUI, TMZ reported.
The 18-year-old was arrested for misdemeanor DUI last month and now faces six months of jail time if charged, reports the site.
The beauty queen was pulled over in Hollywood last month after making an illegal U-tu. Police adminstered a sobriety test, which she failed. Vance's blood-alcohol content just over the legal limit of .08, reports say.
The Ahwatukee, Arizona native could also lose her driver's license for a year if convicted.
The charge could get in the way of the teen's dreams of becoming Miss Califoia in 2013, which she announced she was competing for on her Facebook page in late March.
After being voted Miss Teen USA in Arizona at age 16, Vance made the move to Los Angeles, where she works as a model.
"I'm truly sorry as my conduct was wrong and not a reflection of who I really am," Vance told TMZ, speaking out for the first time since the arrest.
Vance was busted only a week after former Miss USA Rima Fakih received six months’ probation after being nabbed for a DUI as well.
