The Fort Myers Police Department say two people have been killed and at least 16 injured in a mass shooting at a Florida nightclub holding an event for teenagers.
According to the incident report, the gunman entered ClubBlu and opened fire hitting people as young as 12 and up to 27 years of age.
The shooting happened shortly after 12.30am local time in the carpark outside the club, at what was advertised as a ‘teen night’. Club Blu was hosting a “swimsuit glow party” for teens and no ID was required, according to local reports

A survivor of the Florida shooting has broadcast from the hospital bedside.
