Driver of accused murderer arrested after driving through crowd outside murder scene in Houston
Drive of dread: the driver appeared to aim directly at people on the street.

We have a problem with violence and we also appear to have a problem with stupidity, after an aggrieved father recklessly drove his crowd car through a crowd of people right in front of cops and a rolling news cameras.

The episode all began with a deadly shooting just after midday outside an apartment complex on the rough south side of Houston.

The gunfire killed 20-year-old Demarkus Harrison and wounded another person.

A large crowd had gathered at the scene as police did their work, as tensions escalated between family members and friends of the victim and the suspect.

That’s when Louis Anthony III, father of murder suspect Louis Anthony IV, arrived in his car. As you can see, he was none too happy when someone tried to throw a bike at the car.

Gotta hand it to the Houston cops, though. The officer makes a lovely tackle about halfway through the video.

Mr Anthony was reportedly arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Fortunately, the car injured nobody.
