Dentist office manager Kiki Sue Jutting allegedly embezzled $80,000
MASON CITY - A Mason City woman is facing a charge of first-degree theft for allegedly embezzling more than $80,000 from her employer, Central Park Dentistry in Mason City.
Kiki Sue Jutting, 34, Mason City, was the office manager at the dental practice. She is no longer employed there.
According to Lt. Frank Steas of the Mason City Police Department, police officers were contacted earlier this month after it was discovered that money was missing from business accounts.
The alleged thefts had occurred over the course of several years, according to the police investigation.
Jutting was charged Monday in Cerro Gordo County District Court.
A conviction on a charge of first-degree theft carries a fine of up to $10,000 and a maximum of 10 years in prison.
