Columbus Woman Jackie Allen Accused Of Biting Officer During Arrest
COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A Columbus woman faces charges after police said she bit an officer during an arrest.
Police said Jackie K. Allen, 45, appeared to be intoxicated when she was walking near 22nd Street and Cottage Avenue Thursday, stumbling and shouting into her cell phone.
When Allen was approached by Columbus Police Department Patrolman Eric Kapczynski, police said she bit the officer on the thigh.
She was arrested and preliminarily charged with battery on a police officer, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Kapczynski was not seriously injured.
