Cheerleading coach Megan Crafton arrested after performing sex act on high school basketball player in her car

A cheerleading coach was arrested after she allegedly performed oral sex on a 17-year-old student in her car.

Megan Crafton, 22, handed herself on June 15 after the teenage boy told police about the liaison which happened in the parking lot of a grocery store in January.

Crafton, who works at Shelbyville High School in Indianapolis, faces a felony charge of child seduction.

Crafton, pictured right in her police mugshot, has admitted to the sex act but said she did not coach the teenager so was not in a position of authority.

Crafton was released on bond but is due to appear in court this moing for a pre-trial hearing.

According to Fox 59, Crafton is engaged.

The 22-year-old is not a teacher and did not coach the student but was in a position of authority.

Police were asked to investigate by the school after rumors have swirled around their employee and senior student since January.

According to the affidavit, Crafton admitted she had performed sex acts on the teenager.

The school refused to comment on the matter because of the ongoing criminal investigation.
