California woman Stacy Sanchez slams into pedestrian, ‘drove with corpse on windscreen’

According to a KGTV report, a woman in Califoia has been arrested after slamming into a pedestrian while driving under the influence. The woman slammed into the man where he became wedged into the windshield.

Police said Esteysi Sanchez Izazaga, also known as Stacy Sanchez, didn't stop, but continued driving for nearly a mile with the man in the windshield. She then drove onto a sidewalk and through the landscaping of a house before finally stopping, abandoning the car and walking away, KGTV reported.

KNSD reported that the man went head-first through the glass, stopping on the front passenger seat. His leg was ripped from his body and flew though the car and the back window, landing on the trunk, police said.

The man, who was a known transient in the neighborhood, was pronounced dead at the scene. First responders found his shoes, wallet, keys and pants in the street. They also found part of the car's windshield.

Izazaga told police that she had been drinking at several bars oveight and was on her way home in the moing. Police found her a few blocks from where they said she abandoned the car, KGTV reported.

Izazaga was arrested, charged with felony DUI, felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter, KNSD reported
