Brighton Man Larry Bostwick Jr. Accused Of Arranging Sex With Teen

DETROIT -- A 37-year-old man has been arrested after arranging to have sex with who he thought was a 14-year-girl online but was instead an undercover officer with the Macomb Area Computer Enforcement team.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said Larry James Bostwick Jr. has been charged with child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.

Wickersham said the Brighton resident engaged in online chats with an undercover officer and agreed to meet at an undisclosed location in Macomb County for sex.

When he showed up to the location on Friday, he was arrested by Macomb County deputies and officials with the Michigan Inteet Crimes Against Children task force.

He is also facing charges of accosting a child for immoral purposes.

Bostick Jr. was arraigned at the 41-B District Court of Clinton Township. His bond was set at $ 200,000.
