Amtrak train derails in Kansas; multiple injuries reported
Five cars of an Amtrak passenger train derailed early Monday in Gray County, Kansas, near Dodge City, KSN reports.
According to KSN, the cars were on their side and multiple injuries were reported. None of the injuries were life-threatening, Amtrak said in a statement.
The train, which was traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago, was carrying an estimated 128 passengers and 14 crew members, Amtrak said.
The investigation is ongoing.

4:01 a.m. March 14, 2016: From Amtrak's latest statement: "Local emergency responders provided on-site response, with approximately 20 passengers transported to hospitals in Garden City and Dodge City. All other passengers were transported to the 4-H Recreation Center in Cimarron, Kan., and will be provided alteate transportation to their final destination. The Red Cross and other relief agencies are on-site providing assistance to those passengers."
