American Airlines employee found on 'no-fly' list — awkward!
Patrick Cau, American Airlines employee, found on no-fly list

Patrick Cau, a flight attendant in training with American Airlines, has been fired after it was discovered he pops up on the govement's "no-fly" list. Oops. Cau, 40, also goes by the name Patrick Kaiser, and he allgedly called in eight bomb threats to his former employer United Airlines, actions that United says cost it about $268,000. Cau passed AA's background check, which raises some questions about how stringent or thorough the investigation was.

Failing to notice that a potential employee was fired from a different airline for calling in specious bomb threats is a bit like finding out your new IT guy is Ted Kaczynski. [Source]
