Air passenger Timothy Schiavo Jr. caught at JFK with bag of knives
A TRAVELLER was stopped by airport security attempting to board a plane with a shocking array of knives and blades in his carry-on luggage.
The would-be passenger Timothy Schiavo Jr. was arrested at New York’s JFK airport on Saturday with the haul of potentially lethal items, which also included scissors, a number of lighters and matches.
NBC News said Schiavo was stopped while trying to pass through the airport security screening area at Terminal 5.
The 29-year-old was charged by police with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, the network reported.
