Toddler dies in fire after stripper mom left her home alone to go pole-dancing
A LITTLE girl who was home alone hid under her bed in terror as flames consumed her house – while her mum was out performing in a strip club.

Firefighters did not even know the two-year-old girl was in the buing house as they battle the blaze which was raging in the second floor of the terraced house.

They discovered Kalenah Muldrow's tiny body only when her 20-year-old mum Leila Aquino retuned home and discovered her home had been on fire.

Horrified, she told police that her baby had been upstairs

Neighbour Lisette Smith said: "The mother was distraught. She came up, she saw the fire and she said she didn’t know where her baby was. 

"She went into the building. She said 'Where’s my baby? I just want to find my baby.'"

When mum Aquino arrived home, she was was said to be clutching a box containing £700 in tips she had eaed stripping.

But when she leaed that her little daughter was dead she collapsed to the ground in tears.

When quizzed by cops she said first claimed to have left her child with a baby-sitter – but soon after admitted she had left her alone in her home in Brooklyn, New York, while she worked in a strip club.

She was then charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Some people outraged by the incident left messages on Aquino’s social-media page.

One of them, Tonya Houston, said: "I’m trying to understand why would u leave a two year old home alone.

"Do you not have a conscious? RIP baby girl."
