Texas woman Lauren Fox arrested after getting stuck in chimney
Her name might be Lauren Fox, but neither cunning nor agility seem to be her strong suits.
The 20-year-old had to be rescued from a chimney inside of which she became stuck during an alleged break-in.
Firefighters and police were called to a home in Spring, Texas on Friday after receiving a 911 call from Fox, who explained that she was stuck in a chimney but refused to say how exactly she ended up there.
It took arriving a crews a couple of hours to free Fox, and she was treated for a few minor scrapes before being bundled into the back of a police patrol car.
Spring Fire Department District Chief Kevin Wiseman said in 19 years in the fire service, he had never seen a rescue like it.
Fox told police that she was cold and had tried to enter the home to get warm.
