Teen Jordan Morla dies in Halloween prank gone wrong
A TEENAGER is dead after accidentally hanging himself while trying to pull a Halloween prank on his sister.
Jordan Morlan, 16, from Fe Creek in Kentucky, had been hanging Halloween decorations all day and thought it would be funny to pretend to be hanging from a noose decoration he had put in a tree in the front yard.
WHAS11 reports that Jordan's brain was cut off from oxygen within 20-30 seconds of him putting the noose around his neck. His sister found him unconscious and his mother, Ginger Rodriguez, rushed to cut him down.
However Jordan was in a coma and his organs started to fail. He died 12 hours after the accident.
Ms Rodriguez said her son dreamed of becoming a Marine, was excited to get his license and loved Halloween.
She said she hoped Jordan's accident would make other kids think twice before pulling pranks.
