Roman Catholic priest Richard Nachajski Charged with Theft
A Roman Catholic priest from York County has been charged with stealing nearly half-a-million dollars from his former church in Reading. Berks County Detectives say Richard Nachajski, 64, from Glendale Avenue in York, misappropriated $476,093.00 from St. Anthony's of Padua's Roman Catholic Church. Nachajski served as priest at the church from 1998 to March 24, 2009.
